The only one I hired on was Galena (just to see), but the effect was that I had to pay twice for him, and since the FF was gone when I started crewing for 9, I had to rehire him a third time if I still wanted him (he disappeared from his old ship). My old crew and ships are untouched, but the cost of the FF stuff was close to 200 prestige – much more than I have after missions 7&8.įinally, for the FF missions, some of the crew were available for hire even though they were already crewing some of my (unavailable) ships. That left me seriously short when trying to man and arm my old fleet when I got it back, especially considering the two pirate ships and the additional Frigate and Cutter (which for some reason had an ‘average crew’ instead of a ‘novice crew’). That’s fine, but I also lose the prestige I dumped into upgrading the weapons and hiring the crew. Second, after the two Fast Frigate missions, I lose the Fast Frigate. They’re still my ships, they just seem determined to fly the Jolly Roger. Plus, Rockstar-guy Chris has been pretty active in this thread.įirst, is there any way to sell ships for prestige in the campaign? I have a couple of captured pirate ships I’d rather not have polluting my Navy fleet, especially because they keep respawning their pirate flag. I would have posted on a TP board, but I didn’t find one, and Rockstar’s seemed to be down. The voice-acting is also excellent (not surprising, considering the source). I love the game, even it’s wacky Disney characters and storyline (well, maybe everyone but Morphie). It become a nonissue though as without shadows the lighting works as it should and it seems this feature was so unfinished the ingame menu can't even be used to enable it (I didn't experience any natively (years and years ago on an era appropriate pc) but it is entirely possible that the shadow rendering has/had glitches as a result of this state of incompleteness and should be kept disabled, nevertheless the current(win8.1 "current") default windows supplied ddraw.Alright, I picked this up last week, and got myself to mission 9 in the SP campaign. ) there is a "Shadow detail" option (on/off) in the options tree on the left which I enabled but had forgotten I did.
